Practice Mode

Track what you’ve rehearsed and keep an eye on the songs that need attention.

Practice Sessions

Start a live practice session that syncs across all band members in real-time:

1. Go to the Practice tab
2. Pick the songs you want to work on — or a whole song group
3. Tap Start Practice Session
4. All band members see the active session and current song, with full chords, lyrics, and transpose controls

Needs Rehearsal

Spot a song that wobbled on stage? Choose Needs Rehearsal from the setlist header menu to flag it for the next rehearsal. Flagged songs carry a 🎯 marker, and the Practice tab’s song picker can narrow to just the flagged ones, so the next session starts with what needs work.

Practice Suggestions

A connected AI assistant can suggest what to practice next: up to 10 songs nobody has practiced in the last 30 days (never-practiced songs first, then the longest since), plus songs added in the last 14 days that haven’t been practiced yet.

Active sessions persist across navigation — you can switch between pages and return to the session without losing your place. When you’re done, tap End Practice Session and it’s logged to your practice history.

Note

Active practice sessions require an internet connection for real-time sync between band members.

Practice History

The Practice section of Insights shows your practice activity and your most- and least-practiced songs — handy for spotting what needs attention before an upcoming gig.
