MIDI Clips

Upload MIDI files (.mid) to songs or individual steps. Perfect for:

• Click tracks and count-ins
• Backing sequences
• Reference arrangements

Uploading a MIDI Clip

1. Open a song in the editor and go to the Song Automations tab
2. Open MIDI Clip for the step
3. Upload a .mid file (up to 5 MB)
4. The clip is stored and ready to play

Playback

MIDI clips play through the app’s built-in synthesizer. The audio outputs through your device speakers or headphones.

Step-Based Auto-Trigger

When using song steps, you can attach a MIDI clip to each step and configure it to auto-trigger when the step starts. This is the recommended way to automate MIDI clip playback during performance.

Manual Playback

Tap the Play button in the song view to start a clip manually, or map Play MIDI Clip in the Controls section of the Devices tab to trigger it from a footswitch.

Transport Controls

• Play/Pause — Start or pause playback
• Stop — Stop and return to beginning
• Seek — Tap the progress bar to jump to a position

Note

MIDI clips are shared with the band. When you upload a clip to a song or step, all band members can use it.
