Songs & Library
Your song library is shared with your entire band. Any member can add, edit, or delete songs.
Song Fields
Section titled “Song Fields”| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title & Artist | The song name and original artist |
| Key | Musical key (e.g., C, Am, F#m) |
| Tempo | BPM for click tracks and reference |
| Duration | Song length for setlist timing |
| Time Signature | 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, etc. |
| Lead Vocal | Who sings lead on this song |
| PA Notes | Notes for your sound engineer |
| Tags | Categorize songs (e.g., “ballad”, “opener”, ”80s”) |
| Media URL | Link to a reference recording |
View Modes
Section titled “View Modes”The song library supports three view modes:
- List — Full details with metadata badges
- Compact — Minimal single-line rows
- Cards — Grid layout with visual cards
Switch between modes using the view toggle in the top-right corner.
Searching & Filtering
Section titled “Searching & Filtering”Use the search bar to find songs by title or artist. You can also filter by tags to quickly find songs in specific categories.
Import Songs
Section titled “Import Songs”Import songs from CSV or Excel files:
- Go to Settings > Import
- Upload your file
- Map columns to Gigmeister fields
- Review and confirm
