Multitrack Recordings

Pro Multitrack recordings is a Pro feature that requires the multitrack feature flag to be enabled for your band.

Upload multi-stem rehearsal recordings and play them back with individual track control. Useful for reviewing rehearsals, isolating parts, and preparing for gigs.

A multitrack recording is a collection of audio tracks from a single session — drums, bass, guitars, vocals, keys — each as a separate file. The built-in player lets you solo, mute, and adjust the volume and pan of each track independently.

  1. Go to a song’s detail page
  2. Open the Recordings section
  3. Tap New Recording
  4. Give it a name and optionally link it to a setlist
  5. Upload individual tracks

Add tracks one at a time:

  1. Tap Add Track
  2. Upload an audio file
  3. Name the track (e.g., “Drums”, “Bass DI”, “Vocal”)
  4. Repeat for each stem

Tracks can be reordered by dragging them into your preferred order.

The multitrack player provides:

  • Play / Pause — Start or pause all tracks in sync
  • Seek — Scrub to any position in the recording
  • Tracks stay locked in sync — they always play from the same position
ControlDescription
VolumeAdjust the level of each track independently
PanPosition the track in the stereo field (left/right)
MuteSilence a track without removing it
SoloListen to only this track (mutes all others)

Your mixer settings (volume, pan, mute, solo for each track) are saved automatically. When you return to a recording, your mix is restored exactly as you left it.

Add time-based markers within a recording to label sections:

  • Mark the intro, verse, chorus, bridge, and solo
  • Jump between markers during playback
  • Quickly navigate to the section you want to review

Recordings can be linked to songs or setlists:

  • Song link — View all recordings for a specific song from the song detail page
  • Setlist link — Associate a recording with a particular setlist or rehearsal session

Audio tracks are stored securely in the cloud. Each track is uploaded individually and available for streaming playback across all devices.
